{ Back from Paris } Part 1

Ciao ragazze!

I came back from Paris on Tuesday evening. They were busy and funny days ...I really needed it !

How are you ?
How cold it is here !
I left Milan at about 8'C and I returned that freezes .
In Paris, in addition to the cold , I found a great wind !

Sono tornata da Parigi Martedi sera: sono stati giorni intensi e molto divertenti...ne avevo proprio bisogno!

Che freddo che fa qui!

Sono partita che c'erano circa 8'C e sono tornata che si gela.

A Parigi oltre al freddo ho trovato un gran vento!

The show was a great feeling : Paris Création is one of my favorite miniature shows .
There are not so many dollhouse miniatures, but for those who are fond of teddy bears and dolls it's a must!
It 's my favorite show for this reason : I love teddy bears !

In addition, this fair is held at a time of year that dresses up in preparation for Christmas...one more reason to take a trip to Paris!

La fiera è stata una bella emozione: Paris Création è una delle fiere che preferisco.

Non ci sono molte miniature per case di bambola, ma per chi è appassionato di orsi e bambole da collezione è un salone irrinunciabile!

E' la mia preferita proprio per questo: adoro gli orsetti!

Inoltre questa fiera si tiene in un periodo dell'anno che si veste a festa in preparazione al Natale...motivo in più per fare un viaggetto a Parigi!

Well, talking about my exhibition...

I exposed for the first time my kits and I'm very happy about the interest aroused .
Unfortunately, their preparation took me more than a little time, so I could not do a lot of new furniture, but I'm happy anyway because what I did enjoied everyone!

Veniamo alla mia esposizione.

Ho esposto per la prima volta i miei kits e sono molto felice dell'interesse che hanno suscitato.

Purtroppo la loro preparazione mi ha portato via non poco tempo, quindi non sono riuscita a fare molti mobili nuovi, ma sono contenta comunque perchè ciò che ho fatto è piaciuto.

One of my new creations that attracted the most is the Cotton Candy Trolley .
I made inspiring by a true model seen on the web ( I'll tell you something more in another post ) ... I wanted to make one for a long time ... the cotton candy makes me happy !

Una delle mie nuove creazioni che ha attirato di più l'attenzione è il Cotton Candy Trolley.

L'ho realizzato prendendo spunto da un modello vero visto in internet (ve ne parlerò meglio in un prossimo post)...desideravo farne uno da molto tempo...lo zucchero filato mi mette allegria!

I'm so glad I saw...

...my french friends, between these I would like to thank Pascale who come to visit me and with whom I had so much fun,
...my favorite french miniaturists that over time have become my friends ... Le Coffre d'Emilie , Paris Miniatures, L'Atelier de Léa .
I was able to enjoy their company for a few hours ... I missed !
Now I will have my head in the clouds for a few days ...

In the next post I will talk a bit about the show and about Paris , shall we?

Sono così felice di aver rivisto i miei amici francesi...

...tra questi ci tengo a ringraziare di cuore Pascale che è passata a trovarmi e con la quale ci siamo fatte un sacco di risate,

e di aver rivisto i miei miniaturisti preferiti che col tempo sono diventati miei amici...Le Coffre d'Emilie, Paris Miniatures, L'Atelier de Léa.

Ho potuto godere della loro compagnia per qualche ora...mi mancavano!

Ora vivrò con la testa fra le nuvole per qualche giorno...

Excuse me if I neglect you, I write often that I will put remedy to my fickle presence on my blog, but then I find myself apologizing again.

 

Buonasera!

Scusatemi se vi trascuro, scrivo spesso che porrò rimedio a questa mia presenza incostante, ma poi mi ritrovo a scusarmi di nuovo.

 

These months are a little '"special": the fact that I lost my job does not allow me to be totally happy and also if I have more time than before, I struggle to organize the days ... I would do many things but I can not .
I have many ideas in mind, but I can not carry them out with the same speed with which I think.

I really hope, sooner or later, to be able to find the right pace to do it all ... I ask you to have patience.

 

Questi mesi sono un po' “particolari”: il fatto di aver perso il lavoro non mi permette di essere totalmente serena e per quanto io abbia più tempo di prima, fatico ad organizzare le giornate...vorrei fare tante cose ma non ci riesco.

Ho molte idee in mente, ma non riesco a realizzarle con la stessa velocità con cui le penso.

Spero davvero, prima o poi, di riuscire a ritrovare il giusto ritmo per fare tutto...vi chiedo di avere pazienza.

Non voglio abbandonare questo mondo in miniatura che tanto mi piace e vorrei riprendere a seguire qualche progetto che sto trascurando da tempo...

Ricordate quest'estate? Vi ho mostrato una casetta che stavo modificando e vi raccontavo di un grande progetto che avrei voluto realizzare per il mio

compleanno (che è stato nel mese di Dicembre)...

 

Unfortunately, I have not worked on that house and even on that project ...

I'm so sorry about projects that do not wear out ... I weigh ... it is not me ...

Purtroppo da allora non ho più lavorato a quella casetta e neppure a quel progetto...

Mi spiace così tanto parlare di progetti che non porto a termine...mi pesa...non è da me...

But now, thanks to Valeria aka Graffialuna, I'm starting to dream.
Thanks to her, I had the opportunity to exhibit in Apeldoorn, I spent 5 fantastic days, met wonderful people and I came home with many ideas on what I'm working on.

All this to tell you that I have not forgotten you.

Ora però, grazie a Valeria aka Graffialuna, sto ricominciando a sognare.

Grazie a lei ho avuto l'occasione di esporre ad Apeldoorn, ho trascorso 5 giorni fantastici, conosciuto persone meravigliose e sono tornata a casa con molte idee sulle quali sto già lavorando.

Tutto questo per dirvi che non mi sono dimenticata di voi.

The Apeldoorn miniature show, however, was a feast for the eyes and the heart ... in fact we have known miniaturists from the qualities truly unique and infinite kindness that gave us very special moments ... we can not wait to see them again !
For this exhibition I made some new stands. Valeria and I have shared the table and that's why we decided to create stands who fit both my furniture to her clothes.
Thus were born the "corners" as we call them ... do you like?

We are crazy about!

La fiera di Apeldoorn, invece, è stata una meraviglia per gli occhi e per il cuore...abbiamo infatti conosciuto miniaturisti dalle qualità davvero uniche e dalla gentilezza infinita che ci hanno regalato momenti davvero speciali...non vediamo l'ora di rivederli!

Per questa fiera ho realizzato dei nuovi espositori. Valeria ed io abbiamo condiviso il tavolo e per questo

 

abbiamo pensato di creare degli espositori che si adattassero sia ai miei mobili che ai suoi abiti.

Così sono nati gli “angolini” come li chiamiamo noi...vi piacciono?

A noi fanno impazzire!

Coming back from the Simp...

 

Hi girls!

Sorry for the slowness with which I update my blog, but as you can imagine, I came back from Paris very tired. I always arrive at fairs twisted: I work until the last day, so when I get home I need a few days of rest.

What does not help me are the high temperatures ... which now seems to have eased a bit '... it becomes impossible to do anything ... including miniatures...so I apologize to people who are waiting for some creation of mine: as I said I would work on it after the Simp, but unfortunately the heat knocked me ... forgive me!

And now we come to us: the Simp.

 

As you can well imagine it was confirmed a successful show! Unfortunately I can not tell you anything about the exhibitors because I had little time to visit ... thanks to Adriana, Patricia, Roberta and Rosanna, however, I was able to do give “little hello” to my friends ... Dentelles et Ribambelles, Le Coffre d 'Emilie, Paris Miniatures, Victoria Miniatures.

I also had the pleasure to get to know Betty Sartorio ... I always admired her sweet creations, but I never had the opportunity to chat with her ... it is also thanks to her if I managed to get away from my desk !
Among other things she was one of my first customers of the day ... look at this detail of his table: do you recognize something?

I take this opportunity to thank Vilia Miniature for the nice company during the train ride ... how many laughter!

Finally, I want to thank all those people who have come knowing me: I finally got to give a face to some follower of my blog ... my Crazy Idea has intrigued you a lot ...many of you asked me how many Followers I have reached!
It means that you like my the idea, also if I haven't explain you what it is... I am very happy for this!Now I want to tell a crazy thing that happened to Patrizia, Roberta and me in the center of Paris.
As tired from the trip, we could not give to see the Eiffel Tower, so after a hearty snack we headed to Trocadero. From there, walking, we headed to the foot of the Eiffel Tower ...

You never thought ... that right there, under the “symbol of Paris”, we would run into an Apecar Calessino (it's a special italian truck) ?!?! Well, even us, yet it has happened!
More on that, we also did a nice walk around the streets of Paris!!

It 's been fun and exciting especially if you think that a few months ago, along with other girls, we founded the Apecar's Club !

Finally, these two days were intense, made of laughter, spontaneity, serenity and sweetness ... that of croissants and macarons !!

Well, now I just have to get to work: if you remember I have a big project in mind that I would like to show you on my birthday (the 10 of December) ... it would be a nice way to celebrate with you!

Before that, though, I would like to reach 500 Followers: remember that only when I reached them I will reveal my Crazy Idea!!

Ciao ragazze!

Scusate la lentezza con la quale vi aggiorno sul Simp ma, come potete immaginare, sono rientrata soddisfatta ma molto stanza. Per quanto mi impegni, arrivo sempre alle fiere stravolta: lavoro fino all'ultimo giorno, per cui quando torno a casa ho bisogno di qualche giorno di riposo.

In questo non mi è stato di aiuto il caldo...che da oggi sembra essersi attenuato un po'...speriamo perchè si dorme male e si è talmente fiacchi che diventa impossibile fare qualunque cosa...miniature incluse...mi scuso quindi con le persone che sono in attesa di qualche mia creazione: come avevo detto mi sarei messa al lavoro dopo il Simp, ma purtroppo il caldo mi ha messo ko...perdonatemi!

Ed ora veniamo a noi: il Simp.

Come potrete ben immaginare si è confermata una fiera di successo! Purtroppo non posso raccontarvi nulla sugli espositori perchè ho avuto ben poco tempo per visitarla...grazie ad Adriana, Patrizia, Roberta e Rosanna, sono però riuscita a fare un piccolo saluto agli espositori francesi miei amici...Dentelles et Ribambelles, Le Coffre d' Emilie, Paris Miniature, Victoria Miniatures.

Ho anche avuto il piacere di fare la conoscenza di Betty Sartorio...ho sempre ammirato le sue dolci creazioni ma non avevo mai avuto l'occasione di chiaccherare con lei...è anche grazie a lei se sono riuscita ad allontanarmi dal mio tavolo!

Tra le altre cose è stata una delle mi prime clienti della giornata...guardate questo particolare del suo tavolo: riconoscete qualcosa?

Ne approfitto per ringraziare anche Vilia Miniature per la simpatica compagnia durante il viaggio in treno...quante risate spensierate!

Infine, voglio ringraziare tutte quelle persone che sono passate a trovarmi, a conoscermi: ho avuto modo di dare finalmente un volto ad alcune follower del mio blog...la mia Idea Pazza ha incuriosito molte...in tante mi avete chiesto a quanti Followers fossi arrivata!!!

Significa che l'idea, per quanto non vi abbia ancora spiegato di cosa si tratta, vi è piaciuta e di questo sono molto felice!

Ora vi voglio raccontare di una cosa pazzesca che è successa a Patrizia, Roberta ed a me in centro a Parigi.

Per quanto stanche dal viaggio, non potevamo rinunciare a vedere la Tour Eiffel, così dopo una merenda sostanziosa ci siamo dirette al Trocadero. Da li, a piedi, ci siamo dirette ai piedi della Tour Eiffel...

...avreste mai pensato che, proprio li, sotto il simbolo di Parigi, saremmo incappate in un' Apecar Calessino?!?! Beh, neppure noi, eppure è successo!!!

Vi assicuro che le foto non sono un fotomontaggio, sono vere e , vi dirò di più, abbiamo pure fatto un bel giretto per le vie di Parigi!!!!!

E' stato divertente ed emozionante soprattutto se pensate che pochi mesi fa, insieme ad altre ragazze, abbiamo fondato il Club dell'Apecar!!

Insomma, sono stati due giorni intensi, fatti di risate, spontaneità, serenità e dolcezza...quella dei croissants e dei macarons parigini di cui ci siamo abbuffate!

Bene, ora non mi resta che mettermi al lavoro: se ben ricordate ho un grosso progetto in mente che vorrei tanto si concludesse col mio compleanno che sarà in Dicembre...sarebbe un bel modo per festeggiare con voi!

Prima ancora, però, vorrei raggiungere i 500 Followers: ricordatevi che soltanto quando li avrò raggiunti potrò svelarvi la mia Idea Pazza!!!!

Some News...

Hello girls!

It's a bit of time since I last wrote a post...I'm sorry...but as you know I'm preparing for the Simp (www.simp-paris.com). You know, I realize that I spend more time apologizing to you then keeping you updated on the news...I'm so mortified...

You may wonder what I'm doing ... since I'm so little present on on my blog (rarely I upgrade my shop on etsy for the same reasons ...sorry again) ... you'll wonder if it's worth waiting for ... yes, believe me it's worth!As you know I'm busy with the Apecar's Club...only to manage shipments takes so much time and energy (in the post office they are wondering what I'm doing ... I buy so many boxes ... all the parcels have the same weight ... well, when I have finished they will call home to see if I'm okay! ). To this I must add the fact that I'm helping a friend in the organization of her marriage ... which will take place the week before the miniature show in Paris ...

...and finally the Miniature Show for which I'm working hard because I am creating some new item.

I can't tell you a lot about...as you know I never show my new creation before a miniature exhibition...I can only say that the theme of the marriage I'm organizing gave me the idea for some new items.

Of course if I do not tell you which is the main theme of this marriage you are back to square one ...

Sure you may have noticed that it's a symbol I like very much ...

...I had already created an Heart Shaped Muffin Pan for my Billot (Juen 2009)... and as you might have seen on Facebook, I also created an Heart Shaped Cake Pan similar to the real metal cake opening pan... that, in the real world, I find very comfortable.

All these are good informations that surely will give you a little idea of what will be my new theme.

However, what I really can not reveal is the other project I'm working on. A few posts ago I mentioned that I had a surprise for all of you, my readers ... it's a project that I kept locked in the drawer for a while ... but recently I decided to make it come true. I hope to finish it before my birthday ( if you remember, it's the 10th of December ) for me it would be a nice way to celebrate with all of you, believe me!

In short, you will not be disappointed, I promise!

Ciao ragazze!

E' da un po' di tempo che non posto...dovete scusarmi ma come sapete mi sto preparando per il Simp ( www.simp-paris.com). Mi rendo conto che passo piú tempo a scusarmi con voi che a tenervi aggiornate sulle novitá...lo ammetto...metto troppa carne sul fuoco...é il mio piú grande difetto...

Vi chiederete cosa sto facendo...visto che sono cosí poco presente sul mio blog...e che aggiorno raramente anche il mio negozio su etsy...vi chiederete se vale la pena aspettare...ebbene si,credetemi vale la pena!

Come sapete sono impegnata con il Club dell'Apecar che, anche solo per la gestione delle spedizioni, mi porta via molto tempo e molte energie (in posta si stanno chiedendo cosa io stia combinando...compro scatole su scatole tutte uguali...i pacchi hanno sempre lo stesso peso...quando avró finito mi chiameranno a casa per sapere se sto bene...). A questo dobbiamo aggiungere il fatto che sto aiutando una mia amica nell'organizzazione del suo matrimonio...che si terrá la settimana prima della fiera di Parigi...stampare 130 partecipazioni non é da poco...soprattutto quando decidi di creare una busta su misura...ma come sapete su certe cose sono precisina e pignola...a questo si aggiungono i preparativi per la fiera che mi stanno impegnando molto perché sto creando delle novitá...

...non posso dirvi molto...non vorrei togliere la sorpresa a chi verrá a visitarmi in fiera...come sapete di solito non rivelo mai le novitá prima del tempo, vi posso solo dire che il filo conduttore del matrimonio che sto organizzando mi ha dato lo spunto per questa nuova linea di prodotti.

Certo che se non vi dico quale é il filo conduttore di questo matrimonio siete punto e a capo...

...eccolo...

...il cuore che come avrete capito é un simbolo che a me piace molto avevo giá creato per il Billot una teglia per muffins a forma di cuore..e come forse avrete visto su Facebook, ho anche creato una teglia per torta a forma di cuore che simila in tutto e per tutto quelle teglie di metallo apribili...che io,nel mondo reale,trovo molto comode.

Tutti questi sono ottimi indizi che di sicuro vi daranno una piccola idea su quello che sará il mio nuovo espositore ed il tema ad esso correlato.

Ció che invece non posso proprio rivelarvi é l'altro progetto a cui sto lavorando da tempo. Qualche post fa vi avevo parlato di una sorpresa che avevo in serbo per tutte voi miei lettrici...é un progetto che ho tenuto chiuso nel cassetto per un po'...ma che tempo fa ho deciso di realizzare. Spero di riuscire a portarlo a termine entro il mio compleanno che,se ben ricordate, é il 10 Dicembre...sarebbe per me un bel modo per festeggiare con tutte voi,credetemi!!

Insomma,non sarete deluse, ve lo assicuro!!

Hello girls!

Forgive the long absence but as you know, I was preparing for the miniature fair in Milan.

What you do not know is that after I got sick ... nothing serious, just an influence, but I hadn't the energy to write.

Now I will try to recover the lost time ... start with telling you about the fair.

 

Despite the bad weather (some parts of Italy were submerged of snow!), the fair was a success. It was one of the finest fairs, for me...I had the opportunity to deepen the knowledge of some italian miniaturiste and find again some other ... very exciting!
Let me explain ... last year I set up my table (at least I had tried) as a shop, out of which I had placed a 1/12 scale Apecar. My idea was to decorate it like the van delivery ... being a shop ... it takes those who deliver the furniture, right? Unfortunately I had not had time to do it, so I had exposed it as it was (I had just repainted), but a lot fo people liked it a lot anyway.
Well, months after, I was here to send parcels over parcels filled with Apecar truck ... Rome, Turin...well they have traveled a bit!

But where have they made these Apecar truck?
They formed a club, The Club dell'Apecar, who had the good fortune to make a fine show on a table of its own!

 

 

Before reaching this, however, there have been many exchanges of mail. The idea came by chance talking with a friend ... I sent the mail to each to see who could be interested and here we have found to write every day, even at the most unexpected hour (like 4:30 in the morning ...) to keep us updated.
We shared each processing step by step.
It was so exciting that we are planning to repeat this great experience ... so come and visit us on Facebook!

 

 

I hope, once again, to have you sent a pinch of the emotions I experienced myself ...

Ciao ragazze!

Perdonatemi il lungo periodo di assenza ma, come sapete, mi stavo preparando per la fiera di Milano.

Ciò che non sapete è che, dopo, mi sono ammalata...niente di grave, solo un'influenza, ma non avevo le energie necessarie per scrivervi.

Ora cercherò di recuperare il tempo perso...inizio col raccontarvi la fiera.

Malgrado il brutto tempo (alcune zone d'Italia erano sommerse dalla neve!), la fiera è stato un successo. E' stata una delle fiere più belle, per me, che ho avuto modo di approfondire la conoscenza di alcune miniaturiste italiane e ritrovarne altre...emozionante davvero!

Mi spiego meglio...l'anno scorso avevo allestito il mio tavolo (per lo meno ci avevo provato) come un negozio, all'esterno del quale avevo posto un'Apecar (in scala 1/12, ovviamente). La mia idea era di decorarlo come fosse il furgoncino delle consegne...essendo un negozio...ci vuole chi consegni i mobili, no? Purtroppo non avevo avuto il tempo di farlo, per cui l'avevo esposto così com'era (l'avevo solo ridipinto), ma è piaciuto comunque moltissimo, tanto che molte miniaturiste mi avevano chiesto se potevo procurarglielo.

Tra una difficoltà e l'altra ecco che mi trovo a spedire pacchi su pacchi pieni di Apecar...Roma, Torino, Reggio Emilia...hanno viaggiato un po' insomma.

Ma che fine avranno mai fatto questi apecar?

Hanno dato vita ad un club, Il Club dell'Apecar, che ha avuto la fortuna di dare bella mostra di se in un tavolo tutto suo!!

Prima di arrivare a questo, però, ci sono stati numerosi scambi di mail. L'idea mi è venuta per caso chiaccherando con una delle ragazze...ho mandato la mail ad ognuna per sapere chi poteva essere interessato ed ecco che ci siamo ritrovate a scriverci ogni giorni, anche alle ore più impensate (tipo 4:30 del mattino...) per tenerci aggiornate.

Abbiamo condiviso ogni fase di lavorazione dallo smontaggio alla verniciatura, alla decorazione vera a e propria.

E' stato così emozionante che stiamo pensando di ripetere questa bella esperienza...quindi venite a trovarci su Facebook!

Spero, ancora una volta, di avervi trasmesso un pizzico delle emozioni che ho vissuto io...

Hi girls,

I'm back from Paris!

I think you can imagine that Paris Creation was a great success: as I said in my previous post, this is a very special show which brings together the best miniaturists ... is a show for collectors!!!

And now you're probably wondering what was the picture I added in the previous post!?!

Here it is:

a 1:12 Scale Lambretta decorated by me with my new style, The Confiserie Style!

It was admired by many people, adults and children left without words ... and is now in Switzerland...yes, my Lambretta, my latest creation, has found a home!!!

In the coming days I will get straight to work ... I expect a hectic period ...some orders, new projects to work on, Christmas miniatures to achieve ... in short, I have to work to surprise you again!
