Hello girls!

This is my first post of 2013 ... I hope your goodbye to 2012 has gone well and I wish, with all my heart, you will realize your dreams in this year just started!

As for me I have yet to find the right pace to handle all ... my hobby and my new blog (behind which lies a great dream that I want to achieve) ... the Milan miniature fair (www.miniaturitalia.it ) and many backorders.

For lack of serenity in the last few months I was not able to cope well with all these things ... sorry ...

Questo è il mio primo post del 2013...spero che per voi l'anno si sia concluso bene e vi auguro, di tutto cuore, di realizzare i vostri sogni in questo appena iniziato!

Per quanto mi riguarda devo ancora trovare il giusto ritmo per gestire tutto...il mio hobby ed il mio nuovo blog (dietro il quale si nasconde un grande sogno che voglio realizzare)...la fiera di Milano ( www.miniaturitalia.it ) e molti ordini arretrati.

La mancanza di serenità di questi ultimi mesi non mi ha permesso di gestire bene tutte queste cose...cercherò di recuperare al più presto il tempo perso...perdonatemi...

This first post I want to dedicate to one of the projects I'm working on now. It may seem silly, but for me it is a very important thing because it combines my passion for miniatures to my new blog.

In fact, I made an Apecar truck...a very special one it's a wedding planner's Apecar (indeed, of a Dream Planner ... what I want to be me!). I designed this Apecar thinking about how I wanted to be my office ...a walking one would be fun, isn't it?

Questo primo post lo voglio dedicare ad uno dei progetti a cui sto lavorando ora. Potrà sembrarvi sciocco ma per me è una cosa molto importante perché unisce la mia passione per le miniature al mio nuovo blog.

Ho infatti realizzato un Apecar molto speciale, l'Apecar di una wedding planner (anzi, di una Dream Planner...quello che vorrei diventare io!). Ho progettato questo apecar pensando a come avrei voluto che fosse il mio...un ufficio ambulante sarebbe divertente, non trovate?

Well, I decided to paint it in the colors of my blog TousSimplement and I decided to reproduce the banner on one side. Finally I decorated it in the style in which I would furnish my Dream Planner's office (if I ever have one ...).

Beh, come prima cosa ho deciso che l'avrei verniciato nelle tinte del mio blog Tous Simplement, quindi ho pensato di riprodurne il banner su un lato. Infine l'ho arredato nello stile in cui vorrei fosse arredato il mio ufficio da Dream Planner (se mai ne avrò uno...).

This Apecar will be the subject of a workshop I will teach in Milan (www.miniaturitalia.it).
During this workshop you will build the rear structure of the apecar (the office itself, for instance) and its interior.
The Apecar will be provided by me already painted.

Questo Apecar sarà l'oggetto di un corso che terrò a Milano alla fiera di case di bambola (www.miniaturitalia.it ).

Durante il corso realizzeremo insieme la struttura posteriore dell'apecar (l'ufficio vero e proprio, per intenderci) ed il suo arredo interno.

L'apecar sarà fornito da me già verniciato.

I will give you:

Hope you like it ... I have a lot of fun to make it and I hope you will have fun you too!

I want to emphasize one thing: the Apecar truck is very light and the rear structure is designed to be light too. So do not be afraid, even if you come by train, or by airplane, you will not have a big load to carry!

Spero che vi piaccia...io mi sono divertita molto a realizzarlo e spero vi divertirete anche voi insieme a me!

Ci tengo a sottolineare una cosa: l'apecar è molto leggero e la struttura posteriore è pensata per essere altrettante leggera. Quindi non abbiate timore, se anche venite in treno o in aereo non avrete un grosso peso da portare!!

Miniaturitalia 2012

 

Hello girls!

Forgive the long absence but as you know, I was preparing for the miniature fair in Milan.

What you do not know is that after I got sick ... nothing serious, just an influence, but I hadn't the energy to write.

Now I will try to recover the lost time ... start with telling you about the fair.

 

Despite the bad weather (some parts of Italy were submerged of snow!), the fair was a success. It was one of the finest fairs, for me...I had the opportunity to deepen the knowledge of some italian miniaturiste and find again some other ... very exciting!
Let me explain ... last year I set up my table (at least I had tried) as a shop, out of which I had placed a 1/12 scale Apecar. My idea was to decorate it like the van delivery ... being a shop ... it takes those who deliver the furniture, right? Unfortunately I had not had time to do it, so I had exposed it as it was (I had just repainted), but a lot fo people liked it a lot anyway.
Well, months after, I was here to send parcels over parcels filled with Apecar truck ... Rome, Turin...well they have traveled a bit!

But where have they made these Apecar truck?
They formed a club, The Club dell'Apecar, who had the good fortune to make a fine show on a table of its own!

 

 

Before reaching this, however, there have been many exchanges of mail. The idea came by chance talking with a friend ... I sent the mail to each to see who could be interested and here we have found to write every day, even at the most unexpected hour (like 4:30 in the morning ...) to keep us updated.
We shared each processing step by step.
It was so exciting that we are planning to repeat this great experience ... so come and visit us on Facebook!

Ciao ragazze!

Perdonatemi il lungo periodo di assenza ma, come sapete, mi stavo preparando per la fiera di Milano.

Ciò che non sapete è che, dopo, mi sono ammalata...niente di grave, solo un'influenza, ma non avevo le energie necessarie per scrivervi.

Ora cercherò di recuperare il tempo perso...inizio col raccontarvi la fiera.

Malgrado il brutto tempo (alcune zone d'Italia erano sommerse dalla neve!), la fiera è stato un successo. E' stata una delle fiere più belle, per me, che ho avuto modo di approfondire la conoscenza di alcune miniaturiste italiane e ritrovarne altre...emozionante davvero!

Mi spiego meglio...l'anno scorso avevo allestito il mio tavolo (per lo meno ci avevo provato) come un negozio, all'esterno del quale avevo posto un'Apecar (in scala 1/12, ovviamente). La mia idea era di decorarlo come fosse il furgoncino delle consegne...essendo un negozio...ci vuole chi consegni i mobili, no? Purtroppo non avevo avuto il tempo di farlo, per cui l'avevo esposto così com'era (l'avevo solo ridipinto), ma è piaciuto comunque moltissimo, tanto che molte miniaturiste mi avevano chiesto se potevo procurarglielo.

Tra una difficoltà e l'altra ecco che mi trovo a spedire pacchi su pacchi pieni di Apecar...Roma, Torino, Reggio Emilia...hanno viaggiato un po' insomma.

Ma che fine avranno mai fatto questi apecar?

Hanno dato vita ad un club, Il Club dell'Apecar, che ha avuto la fortuna di dare bella mostra di se in un tavolo tutto suo!!

Prima di arrivare a questo, però, ci sono stati numerosi scambi di mail. L'idea mi è venuta per caso chiaccherando con una delle ragazze...ho mandato la mail ad ognuna per sapere chi poteva essere interessato ed ecco che ci siamo ritrovate a scriverci ogni giorni, anche alle ore più impensate (tipo 4:30 del mattino...) per tenerci aggiornate.

Abbiamo condiviso ogni fase di lavorazione dallo smontaggio alla verniciatura, alla decorazione vera a e propria.

E' stato così emozionante che stiamo pensando di ripetere questa bella esperienza...quindi venite a trovarci su Facebook!

Spero, ancora una volta, di avervi trasmesso un pizzico delle emozioni che ho vissuto io...

Yes, it's an Apecar!

Hello girls!

You guessed it: it is an Apecar truck!

I had already exposed it to Miniaturitalia this year, but in that case I had served as the setting up of my table. I tried to create a furniture store, to expose my furniture in an environment adequate to them. The Apecar in that case was the "delivery van". I must say that many peoples liked it so much: it has thrilled children and adults, as well as the Vespa (painted pink in the picture).

Before that, I had kept this "little treasure" in the drawer, thinking that nobody would be interested to see or own a car, a motorcycle or other means in 1:12 scale.

When I bought them I felt like a kid in a toy shop ... I think I have surprised even the dealer ...on that occasion, I also bought a Mini (a collectors version) I then exposed to Miniaturitalia, participating in a contest "Shopping".

The success has given me the courage to launch into this world, so I made the Lambretta for the November fair in Paris ( Paris Création ) and was another success.

Well, that I thought was my (and only mine) passion has transformed into something more, because they really like my “Motorcycle Creations” and I have no plans to stop!!!

I have several projects in mind, different ideas ... as they take shape I will show them to you!

Meanwhile, you're probably wondering how I did this "mania". Well, years ago I subscribed to a dollhouses magazine. I recently built my first house, Amanda (was 1998) , and I was always looking for some inspiration to furnish and decorate. Nutshell News ( this was the name of the magazine, at the beginning ) was an endless source of ideas and helped me a lot in my project. It's in this magazine I found an article on a house made from my project (my house was in fact made by my father on the basis of a project purchased in America: at that time I had bought only the windows, doors, tiles ...) but modified to enlarge.

So far, you say, nothing wrong ... except that ...
... around the house they had built the garden with lots of trees and driveway ...
... on which they placed a beautiful vintage minature car!

From there the dream of creating a similar setup for my Amanda ... a beautiful garden, a beautiful gravel driveway and a nice car that runs along the driveway: nice eh?

At the moment my house has no garden or driveway ( too much space needed ) but this remains the classic "dream" that I hope to realize sooner or later ... ...

Now, one last clarification, for foreign readers: Apecar, Vespa and Lambretta are typically Italian.

The Vespa (for its history click here) I think it is the most known, thanks to the film Vacanze Romane. The Lambretta (click here for the history) and Apecar (click here for the history), however, for those who have never been in Italy, it is almost impossible to know!

Ciao ragazze!

Siete state bravissime, avete indovinato: è un Apecar! L'avevo già esposto a Miniaturitalia di quest'anno, ma in quel caso mi era servito come allestimento del mio tavolo. Avevo infatti cercato ti riprodurre un negozio di arredamento, in modo da esporre i miei mobili in un ambientazione a loro adeguata. L'Apecar in quel caso era il “furgoncino delle consegne”. Devo dire che è piaciuto tanto e che ha entusiasmato grandi e piccini, così come la Vespa (dipinta di rosa, nella foto).

Prima di allora avevo conservato questo “piccolo tesoro” nel cassetto, pensando che a nessuno sarebbe interessato vedere o possedere un auto, una moto o qualuque altro mezzo in scala 1:12.

Quando li ho comprati mi sono sentita come una bambina in un negozio di giocattoli...credo di aver stupito anche il negoziante...

...infatti, in quella occasione, avevo acquistato anche una Mini da collezione (una pazzia !!) che ho poi esposto alla stessa fiera, Miniaturitalia, partecipando ad un concorso “Lo Shopping”.

Il successo riscontrato mi ha dato il coraggio di lanciarmi in questo mondo, cos' ho realizzato la Lambretta per la fiera di Novembre (Paris Création) ed è stato un altro successo...

...insomma, quella che credevo essere una mia (e solo mia) passione si è poi trasformata in qualcosa di più, perchè queste mie crezioni piacciono molto e non ho intenzione di fermarmi!

Ho in mente diversi progetti, diverse idee...mano a mano che prenderanno forma ve le mostrerò!

Intanto vi starete chiedendo come è nata questa mia “mania”. Beh, anni fa ero abbonata ad una rivista americana di case di bambola. Avevo da poco costruito la mia prima casa Amanda (era il 1998) ed ero sempre alla ricerca di qualche ispirazione per arredarla e decorarla. In questo Nutshell News (questo era il nome della rivista, all'origine) era una fonte inesauribile di idee e mi ha aiutato molto nel mio progetto. E' proprio in questa rivista che ho trovato un articolo su una casetta realizzata a partire dal mio stesso progetto (la mia casa è stata infatti realizzata da mio padre sulla base di un progetto acquistato in america, a quel tempo avevo comprato solo le finestre, le porte, le tegole...) modificato in modo da ingrandirla.

Fin qui, direte voi, nulla di strano...se non fosse che...

...attorno alla casetta avevano realizzato il giardino con tanto di piante e vialetto d'entrata...

...sul quale avevano messo una bellissima auto d'epoca!!

Da li il sogno di realizzare un allestimento simile per la mia Amanda...un bel giardino, un bel vialetto con la ghiaia ed una bella macchina che percorre il vialetto: bello eh?

Al momento la mia casetta non ha giardino, nè vialetto (non saprei dove metterla, occuperebbe troppo spazio!)...ma il mio rimane il classico “sogno nel cassetto” che spero di realizzare...prima o poi...

Ora, un'ultima precisazione, per le lettrici straniere: l'Apecar, la Vespa e la Lambretta sono tipicamente italiane.

La Vespa penso sia la pià conosciuta, grazie al film Vacanze Romane. La Lambretta e l'Apecar, invece, per chi non è mai stato in Italia, è quasi impossibile conoscerle!
